Today I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Triplebyte Premium, introducing new Passive Candidate Sourcing as well as Candidate Feedback Insights and Benchmarks! The goal of this product is simple: to enable companies to hire the best technical talent, faster.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that the war to hire technical talent is tougher than ever. The development of Triplebyte Premium is our latest effort to help you get ahead.

So how did Triplebyte Premium come about? Early in 2019 we conducted in-depth customer research, through which we wanted to understand more about the market challenges around hiring technical talent. Some key themes emerged:

  • Lack of deep information about candidates when sourcing
  • Long lead time from pitch call to onsite interview
  • High competition for candidates
  • Difficult to get unbiased feedback on the candidate experience

We looked to address the first two of these challenges with our product update earlier this year, which introduced in-depth candidate profiles, allowing you to better understand candidates’ performance in the Triplebyte screening process as well as their preferences when looking for a new role. Additionally we introduced the candidate “Superweek”, which cuts out the middle-man when scheduling onsite interviews, reducing time from pitch call to onsite.

Having checked these first two boxes, we’ve recently focused on helping companies to gain a competitive edge by delivering unbiased candidate feedback, and enabling them to engage passive candidates with Triplebyte Premium. Let’s get into it!

Accelerate sourcing

With Triplebyte Premium we’ve introduced new Passive Candidate Sourcing capabilities. With this we now not only provide you with access to candidates that are actively looking to move jobs, but also those that aren’t active in their job search but are open to new opportunities. A great way of thinking about Triplebyte Premium’s Passive Candidate Sourcing is like LinkedIn Recruiter, but with the additional security of knowing that all candidates you see have passed our rigorous technical screening process.

What is the value of this to our customers? Well, first, this provides you with access to a much larger, qualified pool of talent within Triplebyte. Second, during our research we heard from customers that passive candidates are typically less competitive than those that are active in the market.

The proof is in the pudding, of course, but initial feedback on the Passive Candidate Sourcing capability has been incredibly positive, with some of our early-access customers reporting response-rates from passive candidates that are as much as double the rate that they see from the likes of LinkedIn!

Improve the candidate experience

In addition to Passive Candidate Sourcing, with Triplebyte Premium we’re introducing Candidate Feedback Insights and Benchmarks. We’ve been capturing feedback from every single candidate that has been part of a Triplebyte hiring process for the past three months. This new capability gives you access to the feedback from your candidates - captured after each interview stage - helping you identify how to improve the candidate experience and ultimately increase your close-rate.

Feedback comes in the form of both analytics - to track how you improve over time - as well as individual responses. Plus, our new Candidate Feedback Benchmarks allow you to compare your company’s hiring process with others in the market, to see how you stack up.

Most importantly, the feedback that Triplebyte captures and provides is unbiased, as we ask candidates to share their experience immediately after their interview (and therefore before they know whether or not they’ll be moving forward to the next stage). This is something we’ve heard our customers struggle to get anywhere else, and we’re thrilled to be able to share.

Reduce cost-per-hire as you scale

Our goals with this is to provide our customers with more predictable annual hiring costs that are based on success. Pricing is tiered based on your target number of hires - and enables you to hire technical talent for as little as $7k per hire!
