8th Wall increases the reach of augmented reality (AR) content with its developer platform, which makes it easy to build interactive AR experiences that run on all smartphones. Creators and developers can choose to deploy their content as a native app to both iOS and Android devices, or as a web experience that can be viewed directly in the user’s mobile browser, no apps needed.

8th Wall uses its own hyper-optimized Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) engine to deliver markerless AR content to mobile apps and the web. Features include 6DoF positional tracking, surface detection, lighting estimation and world points to deliver an immersive experience capable of running on any device with a rear-facing camera.

Our engineering team has broad impact throughout the company and helps to steer decisions for product and design. Engineers may own an end-to-end project and be responsible for its success, or may own key features on medium and large team projects. 8th Wall has enterprise-quality infrastructure for source control, release management, deployment, and data-warehousing, which allows the engineering team to focus primarily on development.

You would get to work on our new web-based image tracking feature poised to power new marketing experiences from some of the most well-known brands.
8th Wall is on a trajectory to become the world's best platform for creation, hosting, and distribution of immersive AR content. You would be helping to build our new content creation portal that will make it easier for anyone to create immersive content.
