Engineering at Aero

Engineering team and processes

We have a team of full-stack engineers because we give engineers the freedom to work across different projects. Everyone has a lot of ownership and management is pretty hands off. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production.

Technical Challenges

We are trying to make things that are relatively complex on the back of house side (like how trips are structure into Sabre, a flight search API) into something very intuitive for the user and the agent that is supporting the user.

Projects you might work on

Agent app - Our interface with our concierge service, where all trips and helpful information are available to the agent so he can help our users.
Backend - the backbone of everything we have, where we translate different flight structures and options into one simple thing for the user (private, charter flights and commercial).
