Airplane is a developer platform for quickly building internal tools. Airplane lets you turn Python/JS scripts, SQL queries, REST endpoints and more into lightweight internal apps that your support, operations, and other teams can use. We provide UIs, notifications, permissions, approvals, audit logs, and more out of the box so that engineers only need to implement the backend logic of an operation. Check out the 2-minute demo video on our website to see how it works: https://www.airplane.dev/

Why join us?
Our founders have a strong track record. Ravi previously founded Heap and helped scale it to 200+ employees, and Josh was CTO at Benchling and helped them grow to over 300 employees.
We have $8.5M in seed funding from strong investors. Compared to other seed-stage companies, we are well-capitalized and have lots of runway.
Engineering at Airplane
We're a 5 person team and we operate on 1 week cycles. We use pull requests on Github to submit changes and another member of the team reviews all changes. All engineers are empowered to push code to production and we do this frequently.
Working at Airplane
We're a small startup and everyone on the team has a high level of ownership on their area of responsibility. We put a lot of trust in everyone who joins the team. We also value collaboration and working together to solve problems, both in terms of live discussions as well as writing down thoughts and commenting on documents asynchronously.
