We're a small team but mighty team where you can have a huge impact.
We've found
product market fit
in the last 12 months and have grown our customer base by 400%. We now have the data, resources, and feedback needed to build all the great tools and features we've been dreaming of building for the last 3 years and we'd love you to help us build them!We care about people at Alloy. We care a lot about the work we do but we care about people a lot more. If you think you can contribute and thrive in a culture that puts people first we'd love to meet you!
We're a small team but we've taken a lot of care to build good engineering practices from the day we founded the company. We work fast but make sure to review each other's code consistently, discuss and enforce best practices, and spend time discussing the right way to build features rather than the fastest way.
We want people who want to help us evolve these practices as we grow, maintaining a core sense of pride in code quality and consistency while bringing new ideas to the table.
We help fintech businesses decide if people are real
or fake
based on external data sources like the credit bureaus, government records, phone records etc.
This is a hard problem made even harder by the fact that we let our customers choose which of our 50+ data integrations they want to use AND how they want to use them. We must maintain integrations with all these data sources, build an engine to customize which are used and how for each customer, and build this in such a way that our customers don't screw up and configure our product in a way that will break or produce bad results.
Sound hard? It is! But it's also a fun problem to solve and the fact that we've solved for so much of this already is why we're growing as fast as we are.

We're a people-first culture. We believe that you should be able to bring your best self to work so you can do your best work.
We offer unlimited vacation and we hope you take advantage of it! We encourage everyone to take time away on a schedule that makes sense to them. For some that means traditional, scheduled vacations, and for others that means taking more long weekends to recharge.
We love pets (especially dogs!) at Alloy and try to have a dog in the office as much as we can. To minimize dog-chaos, we try to keep it to 1 well-behaved dog at a time.
We're flexible about work from home/work remote days. We like people to plan to spend most of their time in the office, but also believe in the flexibility to work from home/remote when its right for you.
We have teammates that work every day in the office, 1-2 days a week from home/remote, and even teammates that prefer the occasional full week of remote work.
We have a commuter benefits program administered through Wageworks.
