Qualification:

Strong programming knowledge in Java/Python/GoLang. Experience in developing REST APIs. Experience in building Micro services. Good Understanding of Bigdata / Hadoop ecosystem with Hands on Spark and Hive Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/Postgres, Couchbase, HBase, Elasticsearch) In depth understanding of Kafka and hands on pub/sub implementations Experience with any of the Container Orchestration technologies – Kuberenetes, OpenShift etc. Successful track record of developing middleware solutions, with a strong focus on code quality, unit testing, integration testing, code quality analysis tools and API (Swagger) documentation. Working in an Agile or SAFe development environment is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
