The American Express Intelligent Automation team is building an innovative enterprise automation platform that will increase the productivity of our colleagues. We will be building a microservices platform using JVM technologies (mainly Java) that will utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML) , Business Process Management (BPM), and other innovative technology across the American Express enterprise.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be working closely with our Software Engineers, Business partners and Systems Engineers to write highly reusable automation platform. You will also have an opportunity to work with multitude of tools and technologies.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
Collaborate with Software developers to drive improvements in code base
Collaborate with team members to define, outline, develop, document, maintain the automation frameworks in a CD/CI environment.
Plan and define testing approach, providing advice on prioritization of testing activity in support of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios
3+ years’ experience in Technology with emphasis on Automation and ML
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Sikuli, Robot Framework
Experience with ML, NLP, NLU
Experience with API automation
