Anchor Brewery tours, Michaels crafting classes, Golden State Warriors stadium tours, and Porsche driving experiences…the experiential economy has arrived.
We empower large brands to create and run their experiential marketing campaigns — turning real-life experiences into useful data.
Our suite of products power our ERM (Experience Relationship Management) platform - the first one in the market.
Come help us define and build a new billion dollar industry.
Ground-floor opportunity to have immediate impact on the company's future, both in engineering and overall direction. Build groundbreaking software with a team of six other highly-talented engineers.
Small, rapidly growing, talented team that is working hard to define a new product category. We have fun together.
Exponential growth that is doubling every quarter (hard-earned after several years searching for product/market fit).
Our Fortune 2000 customers love us. Zero churn.
Just raised a Series A led by one of the most prestigious firms in Silicon Valley. Look out for press over the next few weeks.
We're six full-stack and two iOS engineers who pride ourselves on our collaborative atmosphere. We work closely with the design and product teams, as well as other non-engineering team members.
As a new team member you’ll be onboarded and fully supported by the rest of the team. You will be able to have an impact from day one. We iterate, test, and ship quickly.
Our processes are probably familiar to you: automated testing, continuous deployment and code reviews — but just enough to not feel bogged down by too much process. We don't believe in siloing knowledge - everyone is encouraged be taking responsibility over all parts of the system. You will also have the latitude to deepen your expertise in parts of the stack that interest you, whether it be backend, devops, front-end, tooling, etc.
We encourage you to spearhead processes or tools that interest you and to bring your creativity in solving the problems we face.
We are constantly working on our culture and engineering practices. You'll play a big role in that planning process as the team grows to 10, 20, and 30+ engineers over the next few years.
AnyRoad is at an inflection point. Our rapid growth is forcing us to balance the demands of scaling, building out new features, and chipping away at tech debt. You'll be helping us scale to meet the exponential demand of our product while still spending a portion of your time improving our infrastructure and building new features.
We have a product with a large surface area and a great deal of technical scope and functionality. There is work to be done at nearly every layer of the stack, from optimizing db queries and deployment processes to MVC work to spinning up new apps to serve high value partners. Platform usage is up-ticking at a high rate so we’re facing the challenge of working with ever larger data sets and increasing traffic.
Insights Dashboard — Our #1 value prop. Allows partners (Michaels, Budweiser, Honda, etc) to visualize and understand the data that our platform collects for them. You will be working to help scale and build out the Redshift-powered data warehouse on the backend. You will also be helping us discover and build new data visualizations from scratch using React and Recharts.
External Integrations — Our integral suite of plugins that allow partners to embed checkout flows directly into their own websites. You'll be helping us work on rethinking and rebuilding this in a much more modern way via embeddable cross-origin React components.
Data Analysis and NLP — The next phase of our company involves extracting meaningful and actionable information out of our data. You will help ideate and build out ways to deliver this information to our partners.
Scaling — imagine a set of scheduling rules that could be applied infinitely into the future. How would you build an api that applies those rules for a specified interval? How would you house that data so it is available for querying? And what recurring processes would you need to build to support it? We have a legacy version, but it needs to be reimagined to support 50x growth!
Our day-to-day is dominated by a sense of collaboration, motivation, and the shared goal of helping AnyRoad succeed. We prefer to work together in person, but team members can work remotely when the need arises. Wednesdays are the designated work from home days.
We are non-US centric. Team members work from around the world, and if you are interested in working abroad for a while, that's an option. We recently had a summit in Barcelona, which brought folks together from New York, Greece, and the US.
In the development team, we emphasize sharing knowledge, taking ownership, and continual learning. When we hire, we’re looking as much for character, curiosity and communication skills as for technical aptitude. It might be an expected comment, but it’s worth saying that we really thoroughly enjoy working together.
We don't track vacation time.
We love dogs!
Every year we throw the AnyRoad Summit, where the Athens and SF offices get to meet and spend a week together. This year it was in Barcelona!
We support the Roadies with kids - many of our team are parents and we have very flexible maternal + parental leave programs.
We cover medical insurance for all employees (not dental/vision yet, but eventually we will).
Most of our team works 9am-6pm (ish), but feel free to set your own schedule within reason. Also, we don't have meetings on Wednesdays.
We generally work from home on Wednesdays, but other days are possible!
Enjoy free experiences/tours with any of our partners!
We have offices in SF and Athens as well as an open remote work policy. We encourage employees to take time to work remotely when needed!
