Engineering at Aperio Group
Our engineering team operates under an Agile sprint methodology, with 2 week cycles and daily SCRUMs. We follow best practice ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Our practices are not just ritual but serve to truly better our practices.
We use Jira for task management; Confluence for our knowledge base; TestRail for our test case and case management; TestComplete for test automation; and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
We build our own custom portfolio management tools and are constantly seeking to improve and make our processes more efficient, while extending the capabilities of our applications. Our business users are primarily on premises at our Sausalito headquarters, allowing significant collaboration and a constant feedback loop. As we have grown significantly over the years, our challenges are typical ones: refactoring functionality and applications; building our data capabilities; and keeping true to our technology roadmap while balancing business needs.
You would have the opportunity to work on our custom portfolio management tools, and consider broader application architectures as we look to continue to scale.
You would have the opportunity to work on and influence our significant data projects, including future analytics.
Refactoring opportunities, UI frameworks, enterprise application architecture, and data architecture and and integrations.
