Role Description

We are looking for someone with a combination of strong programming skills and a creative, user-focused mindset.

Our team defines and delivers the Siri experience used by hundreds of millions of people to send messages, make phone calls, send and receive money and otherwise stay connected with the people in their lives. We use Siri's advanced machine learning speech recognition and natural language technologies to create rich conversational interfaces for our users.

We are looking for collaborative engineers who can work across a wide range of technical areas in order to build out Siri's user-facing capabilities. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafting and implementing a conversational assistant user experience that provides intelligent user assistance for our Siri customers
  • Writing code in Java, Typescript and ObjectiveC across Siri's client/server stack
  • Integrating with first- and third-party applications to enable Siri capabilities
  • Working with design and client-side teams to ensure a great user experience
  • Working with localization team to support the Siri experience in multiple languages

About Apple

The Siri team at Apple is split into two groups. The Core Siri group builds all the infrastructure to connect Siri with Apple products, and the Proactive Intelligence group takes the intelligence software Siri has built and applies it to other Apple products
