Role Description

Apprente is utilizing state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) technologies in building voice-based conversational agents for the enterprise. Backed by leading VCs and tech investors, we are expanding our ranks and are seeking strong software engineers. The engineer will join Apprente’s core R&D team of veteran developers and ML researchers. This position is open to both experienced engineers as well as outstanding graduates.


Develop and test customer-focused software systems using proprietary machine learning technology Work with other engineers to implement algorithms and systems in an efficient way Take end to end ownership of system elements - from data pipelines and training, to realtime deployment


Extensive proven background in Python Critical thinking and problem solving mindset Experience with Machine Learning systems a plus Good communication skills Good understanding of mathematical foundations of ML algorithms BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field

Company Culture

The team is diverse and easy going. We are pretty fair with WFH when needed, however, our deadlines can be pretty harsh. We all help one another and though everyone has an opinion, we are all respectful. There are sometimes hugs in the morning and whiskey on Friday afternoons.
