Role Description

Armorblox is a cybersecurity innovator that helps organizations communicate more securely over email and other cloud office applications using Natural Language Understanding (NLU). The Armorblox platform connects over APIs and analyzes thousands of signals to understand the context of communications and protect people and data from compromise.

We are looking for experienced Site Reliability Engineers to join our Production Engineering Team. In this role, you will work with the Engineering team to automate and enhance the reliability and performance of systems that power the Armorblox platform. You will diagnose, resolve issues encountered in the production systems, take part in a 24/7 on-call rotation with teams across the globe to address mission-critical issues.

Requirements
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or related fields
Track record of leading successful large scale Infrastructure projects
Demonstrate strong Linux fundamentals
Experience operating Kubernetes on Google Cloud or similar PaaS providers
2+ years of experience with automating systems and managing infrastructure as code
Respond to production incidents and determining how we can prevent them in the future
Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of software engineering best practices
Experience working on early stages of product development, or prior startup experience

Plus
Experience working with Istio, ingress controllers and ArgoCD in Kubernetes
Passionate about tools in the DevOps ecosystem
Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision
Deep understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines and experience with Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL, or timescaleDB
Experience working with Prometheus and Grafana
Experience coding in Python or Go
