You'll be starting on the ground floor with our small, but effective team. You'll own large swaths of our platform but you get to build an existing product with a ton of room for growth.
Engineering at Astra
Our team is small and nimble, and each of us wears many hats. Our engineering team sets priorities monthly, we typically work on two-week sprint cadence, and utilize agile dev processes (daily standups, Slack, and Zenhub kanban boards).
Automation is our key value offered to users, so we get to conceive and implement a wide range of Triggers, monitor data sources for events, then initiate Actions on behalf of our users. Our platform is meant to work universally with all 12,000 banks and credit unions, so we have significant challenges around long-tail data sources and maintaining near real-time accuracy across all connections. We also enable inter-bank transfers that require user identity matching.
You would get to lead development efforts for all Back End endpoint design, automated routines, and internal monitoring.
You would build a web version of our app from scratch in React, using our React Native codebase as baseline business logic.
You would build internal monitoring (KPIs and Fraud monitoring) dashboards from scratch, including new endpoints for our Back End.
