Role Description

As a developer on our team, you will directly impact the next-generation of our product. You will play an active role in the design and development of new features and improvements to our software, positively impacting our customers. Atakama will present you with constant challenges where you can apply your ideas to real functionality and process. You’ll have the ability to grow your experience and explore new technologies within a culture that is overflowing with mentorship and cross-team collaboration.

What you’ll do: • Work directly with management, our CTO and software engineers to help design and build various components for our software • Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code • Contribute to team planning, tracking and work visualization • Resident in our awesome office in New York

Characteristics we seek in new team members: • Self-starter who can prioritize development milestones and work independently • Patience and willingness to debug and fix code thoroughly • Skepticism of one’s own solution • Ask questions and know what software to investigate in the first place (think “measure twice, cut once”)

About atakama

We have created an environment where developers have the opportunity to grow both technically and as an individual through experience and education.
