At Athelas, we use Machine Learning to help patients learn important metrics about their blood health from their homes. We are particularly focused on oncology patients who require multiple tests a week and are already undergoing the difficulties of chemotherapy. We are FDA cleared, funded by Sequoia, and YCombinator, and have raised a Series A. We are looking to find smart, driven teammates who care about using software to help improve the standard of care for chronic cancer patients. Our engineering team is modeled after the engineering team at Whatsapp. We believe strongly that great tools allow small teams to achieve great things. We aim to be a small, independent, and highly efficient team.

All engineers on the team dictate their designs, roadmaps, and work directly with the end user. We believe engineers are their own best product managers.

We support our team to think of themselves as versatile individuals who happen to focus on engineering. We encourage our team to become more involved with all aspects of the company including design, process engineering, and quality.
