Engineering at Bambee
Our engineering team is structure into self-empowered squads, with a Tech Lead heading each squad, and Tech Owners being point contacts for various pieces of the applications and pillars (frontend, backend, devops, data).
We adhere to agile principles, running two-week sprints and leveraging Continuous Delivery (CD) principles to ship features daily.
Given that we're a fast growing company we're in the process of implementing cutting edge technologies that give us the resiliency and scalability needed by the business. There are several exciting initiatives going on, such as conversion to microservices, event-driven architecture, and implementation of a workflow orchestration system.
We're heavily data driven, so we instrument and track data in virtually all areas of our technology platform. This leads us to work on deep insights, and heading toward machine learning predictive models.

Flexible Hours
We're very flexible on schedule, focusing more on productivity than work hours. Most of the engineering team works between 9am to 6pm pacific time - but we also have people working remotely from other timezones, so we're very flexible.

We let our engineers work from wherever they are most productive. Whether that be from home, or in an office - or hybrid of both. Each engineer is different and we can accommodate various work locations.
