At Bird, the engineering team mission is to provide technology solutions that power the success of the company. We organize our developers into “mission” teams, or cross-functional teams guided by a small (but important) set of KPIs that dictate our business performance. In turn, each team is empowered to create strategies and tactics to positively influence those KPIs and then deliver on those commitments. We work on a one-week iteration cycle and deploy new software at an incredibly fast pace. Although still nimble and swift, we deliver incredible solutions with a high quality of craft.
