Engineering at Bliss Point Media
We have an engineering team of 4, split between Santa Monica and Berkeley. We run a daily standup to sync up on our progress and goals, then deploy to production when code changes are ready. We use traditional code review, design documents, and Jira to make sure we are continuing to build high quality software.
Our biggest and most interesting technical challenges are about how we can use technology to disrupt the television advertising industry. Our ability to deploy machine learning, automation, and bespoke tools allow us to deliver impressive performance for our clients week after week.
Build out new client-visible features to enable our clients to slice up their data (and our analysis of it) in new and exciting ways.
Build out new tools to make our internal teams substantially more efficient, so that we can scale the business more effectively.
Improve our ETL process to deliver analysis sooner and more robustly.
