Engineering Lead

What We Do:

We run work simulations so that students with any type of background can try out different jobs. Our goal is to build a world where anyone with access to internet can try out different jobs so that they can get an understanding of the opportunities that are out there and decide what fits them best / practice to develop into a better candidate.

Who We Are:

We are a team of MBA graduates (Columbia and Wharton) with backgrounds in finance/education/tech, and are looking for a technical co-founder. We have been running our simulations in person for the past two years, and are looking to expand further via online. With a combination of business, curriculum design, product and technology (you), we will be a perfect recipe for success!

Responsibilities:

1. Develop full stack web applications with a variety of languages including HTML5, CSS3, React, JavaScript / Node, AWS, API integrations, and any other language you feel is appropriate to use to build full stack applications from the grounds up.
2. Work closely with us on a day-to-day basis!
3. Live the product, breathe the product, and make the big product decisions!

Qualifications:

4+ Years of experience with a variety of languages including but not limited to HTML5, CSS3, React, JavaScript / Node, AWS, API integrations.

4+ Years of experience developing and launching products/features for consumers and producers into a production environment and in the context of a marketplace/market network/platform.
