Our team consists of 18 engineers & data scientists, who work on a number of different areas of the product, from the consumer experience to credit modeling and core infrastructure. We are organized in cross-functional teams that include product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists and stakeholders from other functions where needed. Our processes are constantly evolving, but most teams employ a lightweight agile methodology, where work is organized around quarterly goals and then broken out into weekly or bi-weekly milestones. There is also a weekly meeting for the entire engineering team to come together and demo their work to each other.
We use Github pull requests for code review and deploy code to our production systems on Heroku & AWS multiple times per day. We are also big believers in testing and using CI/CD to minimize the need for manual QA.

- Scaling our backend infrastructure to support payments, identity, and communications infrastructure across multiple countries
- Train Machine Learning models to build risk, underwriting and fraud models.
- Scaling our financial systems to enable us to disburse and accept repayments for millions of dollars every day, in multiple currencies and with complex rules associated with them.
- Building tools for our operations teams that are fast, easy to use, and that automate and support many of their complex workflows.
- Making our systems scalable and secure to exceed our customer's expectations for ease of use, data privacy and control.
You would work on building out our Android app to support additional financial products.
You would work on creating new or improving existing machine learning models for assessing credit risk, fraud, and growth.
You would work on secure storage and processing of sensitive customer data, including financial data.
