Brigit is a next-generation consumer finance company focused on helping underserved consumers by leveraging data to provide credit in previously unexplored ways.
Our initial use case is disrupting the huge $33B overdraft market with 5,000%+ APRs and the exploitative $10B payday loan market, through a user-centric application with an effective design and innovative feature set.
Our team consists of results-driven innovators who have managed successful products and businesses at Amazon, Deutsche Bank, Palantir, Two Sigma, and Credit Suisse, and have a strong desire to improve the financial lives of underserved Americans.
We are funded by top tier Silicon Valley and New York venture capital firms and advised by influential luminaries from the finance and tech industries who you’ll be able to learn from.
We're solving a massive need for over 100M Americans who have been left behind or abused by the current financial system. Our products save them THOUSANDS of dollars a year and work totally in the background. We're focused on putting money back into our customers' pockets and getting them on the road to improved financial health.

All engineers engage in some amount of full stack work, although we often split up features between a backend/frontend owner to have shared understanding of new features and to speed up development.
We have a strong focus on shipping new features and products to our users, but at the same time we care deeply about writing clean, maintainable code. We believe real engineering value is driven by building things fast, but also building things right.
One of our engineer's first major projects was to build out a new payments integration which has gone from $0/day to over $1M in payments/day over the course of just a couple months.
