Buzzer
Our mission is to simplify the discovery of live moments and make them seamless to watch. Buzzer takes fans from league to league and game to game, instantaneously. We celebrate our community of fans who are fueled by their passion for sports.
Engineering at Buzzer
Our engineering team operates on two week sprint cycles. We do daily standups and weekly demos of progress. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production, which we often do multiple times a day.
We're building a personalized notification and video platform to surface relevant live moments to use for purchase via microtransactions or via OTT authentication. This requires us to build machine learning models and algorithms to take match live video metadata with user preferences in order to increase purchase conversions.
Platform engineers would work on creating a scalable, event-driven platform that consumes and processes live video and metadata for ML and ETL purposes, as well as serving a strong, scalable API for our mobile applications to surface live video content.
Mobile engineers would work on expanding our iOS and Android applications for a quick, interactive, and virally sharable experience.
Data Scientists and Data Engineers would work on creating and perfecting Machine Learning models and algorithms across various channels to ensure optimal delivery of highly purchasable and personalized live video content.
