As a QA Lead at Circa, you will coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and projects in the organization. You’ll work with the team to execute the right methodology for development work and its functionality.
You believe quality is an integral part of each step in the development process. You’re a strong communicator, highly organized, and have great attention to detail.
You have at least 5 years of QA experience and understand a broad range of testing methodologies. You have extensive experience with conducting and creating test plans. You’re comfortable with Agile development methods (scrum, Kanban), able to organize work to maintain timelines. Identifying opportunities for improvement is a strength of yours – we’re all about continuous improvement!
About the Position
As the QA Lead, you will develop, execute and coordinate regression and functional test plans. You’ll develop QA discipline with emphasis on BDD and TDD. You’ll coordinate efforts across multiple teams and projects, communicate test strategies to development teams and internal stakeholders alike, and collaborate with tech leads on timeline, outcomes, and results. You will coordinate multiple QA plans across different development teams, providing mentorship and direction for the QA discipline.

Most days will involve:
Developing, executing, and documenting test plans
Coordinating plans and analyzing results
Communicating results for needed action
Weekly activities may include:
Assessing appropriate testing methodology for upcoming development
Coordinating with team leads on user story definition
Assessing testing results, identifying risks and remediation strategies
Coordinating with Workstream Lead to understand desired business outcomes
On a more monthly or annual basis, you’ll define, create and communicate quality metrics
