Engineering at Clark

Engineering team and processes

Engineers at Clark are involved with the product development process earlier than at most companies. We participate in user research and the problem-solving required for an early-stage product to succeed.

We work in 1-week sprints, and develop our process around providing maximum shared context for a) what we're building and b) why we're building it (and why like this)

Technical Challenges

We're building a large-scale React application and must develop our architecture both pragmatically and sustainably in order to succeed on delivering both user happiness and developer happiness.

Working at Clark

We attempt to iterate thoughtfully on our company culture. We do full team retrospectives every month — engineering, sales, marketing, CEO, everyone — and follow-up on the action items every Monday morning.

The Engineering team meets weekly to discuss technical topics of interest as well as strategies for building things the right way.
