Engineering at Climate Solutions Net

Engineering team and processes

We work in sprints of 2-3 weeks. We are a startup, so the scheduled is more flexible to the priorities. We start with initial meetings with design and engineering to spec new features, then estimate time to complete and work flow for the team. We conduct code reviews and push code into a sandbox for testing before going live.

Technical Challenges

We have an innovative, robust carbon and savings analytics model that drives all the metrics on our site. The challenge is to design the most efficient, yet accessible code/model to allow for easy growth and upgrades to the calculations.

Projects you might work on
  • Take complex data analytics model in excel and translate into a flexible, efficient model in code.

  • Create user groups structure for users to work together and track progress, share information, etc.
