As a DevOps Engineer at Cogility Software you will work on the Kubernetes architecture and deployment for the Cogynt product offering. Cogynt is an enterprise application running in Kubernetes delivered to our customers. You will collaborate to design, configure, deploy and maintain the product through its lifecycle. This role will focus on automation, container orchestration and deployment tools, while working with our development teams to help introduce best practices across our organization.

A DevOps Engineer at Cogility Software will collaborate to design, configure, deploy, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot our continuously expanding cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on automation and CI/CD development while working with our development teams to help introduce best practices across our organization. We focus on delivering industry leading technologies at the highest levels of scalability, performance and security.

What we need:

Must have a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in this role. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or technical certification or equivalent work experience. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection. Must have sound proficiency in the following: Platforms: Linux/Unix, Windows, Mac Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS Data Platforms: Relational - PostgresSQL (9.x and higher) Indexing: ElasticSearch

Preferred experience:

Languages: Deploying applications in: Elixir, Java, Javascript, NodeJS, Ember
DevOps Lifecycle (CI/CD): Jenkins, CodePipeline, Git, CodeDeploy, CircleCI Data Platforms/Analytics: Kafka, Flink, Spark

Additional Requirements:

· Must work from our Irvine office location · Must be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments/ projects at once · Be able to communicate and work with people of all technical levels in a team environment · Be willing to take feedback and incorporate it into your work · Be willing take direction from team lead but must be self-managing · Ability to deal positively with shifting priorities · Be willing to travel to client (on occasion)
