Commonstock is a social network that amplifies the knowledge of the best investors, verified by actual track records for signal over noise. Community members can link their existing brokerage accounts and share their real time portfolio, performance, and trades (by percent only, dollar amounts never shared). Commonstock is not a brokerage, but a social layer on top of existing brokerages helping to create more engaged and informed investors.
We've focused 100% of our effort so far on organic network effects and value-prop. As a result, a cult-like community has formed and is rapidly expanding itself thanks to finding product-market fit in beta. We're well capitalized and looking for teammates to help us harness the amazing energy of the self-directed investor. Our diverse team comes with experience across the investing and tech landscape, from hedge-funds & VC to big tech & small startups.

Engineering at CommonStock
95% of the company is technical with everyone pushing code to prod. We run a 2 week agile sprint process with testing and security integral to all decisions.
- Serving massive amounts of stock market asset data to the end user in under 13ms
- Using sentiment data and algorithms to predict price movements
- Securely handling user data for billions of dollars transacted through our APIs
Build APIs that connect new brokerages to Commonstock + properly ingest the data from these brokerages and calculate performance with this information.
Create dashboards for analyzing stock and crypto portfolios.
Build out a feed where quality and relevant content is surfaced to users.
