Commure is building the universal platform and common architecture for tomorrow’s health ecosystem. Our technology will unite health innovators around open collaboration for scalable care that puts people first.

Active Roles

Why join us?

  • Our Mission: Commure is building the universal platform and common architecture for tomorrow’s health ecosystem to enable open collaboration that breaks down long-standing “silos” in health IT and mends fragmentation in healthcare delivery.

  • Our People: Commure’s team comprises 300 people who are passionate about building our technology, and collaborating with leading health systems and other innovators to deploy it in service of connected care and collective wellbeing.

  • Our humility: We champion a radically collaborative approach to partnership in healthcare because we know that our company cannot single-handedly transform the industry, and neither can any other single organization. In order for healthcare to be successful, lots of other platforms will need to fuel innovation alongside Commure — and it’s our job to make sure that our platform can connect into theirs to help mend the fragmentation as we pursue scalable transformation across the industry.

  • Your opportunity: Grow your career with a well-funded startup that is gaining momentum on multiple fronts – completing a year that saw us double in size, organically and through acquisitions; build out our senior executive team with world-class tech and healthcare industry leaders; and forge partnerships with marquee healthcare provider organizations that are excited by and share Commure’s vision.

Projects you might work on
  • We’re changing the way a patient schedules an appointment by integrating application developers with health systems, creating a modern, patient centric experience. We serve as the data platform, centering on the patient, enabling a seamless experience. Patients can easily review their medical history, schedule an appointment with their provider and reschedule if life gets in the way. As a cloud platform, we’re able to ingest multiple sources of data, create a holistic view of the patient, and allow developers to quickly and securely integrate with various healthcare systems.

  • We are designing and implementing healthtech API modules to enable internal teams, hospitals dev groups and digital health companies to build healthtech applications. These APIs will be in addition to the FHIR APIs currently offered by Commure. While FHIR APIs are valuable for interoperability, Commure APIs will be ergonomic and easy to learn for new hTech stack: gRPC, Protobufs, Go.

  • We are embarking upon building Commure’s next generation data integration platform, which will be the gateway to our overall platform for ingesting data from multiple sources, designing, deploying, and running sophisticated data pipelines for processing various different data sets, and eventually storing processed data into multiple data sinks; including our internal data repositories but also by integrating with external data sources via outbound data connectors.

The platform will provide data quality, data lineage, full auditability, data profiling and mapping capabilities at its core with security, multi-tenancy, scalability, cloud agnosticity, simplicity, and observability as first class citizens.

The tech stack may involve one or more of the following: Camel K, Kafka, Cloudevents, gRPC, Protobuf, Spark, Flink, Beam, Airflow, Prefect, Argo and so on.
