We are hiring Remotely for our Bogota, Colombia office in Latin America.

Within the first 90 days as a Staff Engineer at Commure, you will:

Design and engineer our core platform with a product and software engineering mindset with the expectation of taking intelligent risks and delivering high-quality software Grasp a comprehensive knowledge of how we’ll solve Healthcare problems for the entire ecosystem Contribute to making long term technical decisions that will influence future engineering teams within our EPD structure Architect, design, and implement high-quality software that performs at scale Build, maintain, and extend development processes and tools to ensure ongoing improvements to team productivity and product scalability Provide technical leadership within and across scrum teams Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors, Masters, in Computer science Expert-level proficiency in one or more prominent languages such as NodeJS, Go, or C/C++ An expertise in building and architecting large scalable distributed systems Experience designing, building, and operating SaaS-based enterprise software solutions Experience with synchronous and asynchronous messaging technologies such as Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ, Caching, Infra as code Demonstrated experience developing highly available, scalable and low latency APIs with GraphQL, GRPC and Rest, in one or more clouds Experience in optimizing data schemas in DBMS. SQL and NoSQL datastores (PostgreSQL preferred) Experience with Kubernetes or Docker Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms, and an ability to communicate complex technical issues to a range of technical and non-technical audiences (management, peers, clients) What you'll bring to the team to help us expand our collective talents: Be a constant learner and a great problem solver, keeping users in mind Be adaptive and flexible to hot swap between priorities Be a model for others to grow in their careers Be a great team player to help us expand our engineering culture Passion for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to increase delivery velocity
