Our engineering team currently has 3 members. We're an agile team that practices pair programming and regular code reviews. We interface daily with employees outside of engineering and are heavily involved in feature planning in addition to just implementation. Our engineers work all across the stack and are heavily product-driven.
Own a revamp of our client facing application that ties together property lookup and analysis, user preference input, design presentation (WebGL), and purchasing.
Build out our smart home application, which provides: Control functionality (temperature, security, etc), Analysis (utility usage), Maintenance (scheduling, support tickets), and more. Additionally you'll have a huge hand in developing a feature roadmap for IOT integrations.
Expand our property-law compliance evaluation system to scale to other cities with different legal codes (think NLP and satellite image processing).
Build internal tools that span design management, business operations, and manufacturing of an extremely complex product that has tens of thousands of parts.

Every 3 weeks, we assign a pair to plan a team fun activity after work. So far these have included cookouts, board games, bowling, and painting with Bob Ross.
Our next trip is sailing to Catalina Island (we have a couple of employees who sail). Our last retreat was at Mammoth Lakes, where we went skiing and relaxed in a hot spring between work sessions.
