Role Description
Looking for someone to lead our Ephemeral Computing team - in short this squad allows us to drive millions of simulated miles daily! :)
Full Breakdown:
A rather unique software engineering role that involves developing services, tools and infra used by every SWE at the company.
This Software Engineering team focuses on building specialty backend systems + infrastructure that allows hundreds of engineers to execute thousands of simulations....simultaneously :D
Simulation rapidly increases product development and truly ensures the safety of our production vehicles. Lots of distributed systems, some tooling, some infra and lots of Golang (some Python)!
We're pretty open on language though - ideally just looking for a Staff or Sr.Staff Engineer that can set the tone for the group and lead some of the outward facing work when it comes to more overarching decisions + designs.
