Software Engineer, Java/Backend

Our team (~50) is comprised of industry veterans from companies like Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook with multiple successful exits under their belt. We're growing fast as we gain traction and looking to expand the team. We have offices in San Francisco and Sunnyvale. We will also allow you to work remotely.

We're looking for an engineer with at least 2 years of backend experience to work on our modern backend stack using Java 8,  JavaRX, GraphQL, and MongoDB . We're docker-friendly, employ a host of open source software and take our code quality very seriously. We move quickly, get to work on interesting and challenging problems, and deploy our production applications and backend services daily.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer  Strong CS fundamentals (Data Structure and Algorithms) Proficient in Java Experience building API driven backend services  Bonus Points

Experience with GraphQL Experience with reactive programming patterns, e.g. RxJava Experience setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure Experience with MongoDB Perks
