Our team has scaled revenue to billions of dollars at companies like Twitter and has expertise building secure scalable systems that process $50+ billion in transactions each year.
We're a startup that's moving a mile a minute, and that makes it difficult to follow two-week development cycles. Every few weeks, our CEO (who used to be a Product Manager at Twitter) meets with our Lead Engineer to spec out all the outstanding dev work, prioritize it, and put anything that is missing into Trello. From there, the team works on the most urgent features in the prioritized order. For bigger ticket features or products, our CEO writes up product specs that are then reviewed by engineering and agreed upon before any development commences. Ivan Balepin leads our engineering team (he's a security and payments expert with 20+ years or development experience).
- Building direct-to-bank integrations instead of using the popular data aggregator (Plaid) which all other FinTechs use
- Building Machine Learning models to read and classify email responses sent to us by bank agents
- Building models that write compelling emails to negotiate bank fees that look like they've been written by a human
- Scaling a system that has to handle multiple communication channels at the same time (bot-to-consumer, bot-to-bank, bank-to-bot, etc..)
We currently support a handful of banks. One of the first projects you'll work on is implementing a new bank from scratch. This will include full stack work from getting through multi-factor authentication to filling out web forms to integrating the experience into our existing app.
Migrating our product experience from a Facebook Messenger bot to a progressive web app or mobile app — end to end.
Building out our new money-saving of fee-avoiding product from scratch.
