Dandy is the first dating app that’s been backed by the CTO of Tinder and is positioning itself to build the future of dating for Gen Z. We most recently closed a $2.5m seed round with First Round Capital as our lead investor, joined by powerhouse investors from Uber, Tinder, Lyft, Twitter, Snapchat, Houseparty, Airbnb, Netflix and more.
Dandy’s mission is to create the world’s most engaging dating experience between two people. We’re driving that mission by building the first-ever live synchronous dating experience to solve the problem of immense time & effort required by existing apps.
Why join us?
Our lead investor is First Round Capital, the world's top seed-stage venture firm. We're also backed by founders/execs of Uber, Lyft, Bird, Houseparty, Twitter, Airbnb, and Snapchat.
We're not just another
Tinder for X—we're fundamentally changing the concept of online dating for the next generation.
Our founders dropped out of college to pursue this full-time. Very much a
work hard, play hardculture.
Engineering at Dandy
Our engineering process is built on trust. We have a lead iOS engineer who is working around the clock to create the best product possible. The last component is an extraordinary backend engineer who can get us to product-market fit and our Series A.
We're buiding a live synchronous dating experience that needs to handle matching thousands of users at the exact same time, with no lag or compromise on performance.
You would be the sole backend engineer responsible for our entire backend infrastructure and integration with iOS.
