Using a combination of user-interaction design, user-journey flows, and static and interactive content, and languages like Ruby, JavaScript, Rails, React, and integrations with Salesforce and Heroku Connect, we built a rate calculator engine and user portal to overcome the complexity inherent in flood insurance calculation. We codified the information from the FEMA rate tables and insurance documents by discovering patterns in the data, resulting in accurate flood insurance rates.

Elias Sports Buruea's
Game Plan
app.Def Method engineers worked with the Elias team develop a first ever fan facing application - Elias Game Plan. The development effort focused on pulling real time information from key data sources combined with relevant statistics from the internal Elias system, and then transforming the integrated data into insights to be surfaced in digestible formats to users.
