Role Description

Our business is built upon programmatically making intelligent decisions based on data. This requires a strong data foundation that ingests, stores, and retrieves live real estate and related information. In this role, you will build our ingestion and ETL pipelines to create a robust data lake of the data required to build and train intelligent models.

You will be able to leverage your creativity and skill set to make homeownership more accessible and equitable. The engineering team builds tools to support our consumer, agent and administrative products. At Divvy, you’ll own some of your projects from start to finish, support your teammates on other projects, and work collectively to scale our platform to thousands of new applicants and multiple new markets. Almost every project will require cross functional collaboration across the entire home buying process. You will work alongside a team of 16 engineers, 5 product managers, 4 data scientists, and about 150 other Divvy employees working on different parts of the business.

About Divvy Homes

We've built an exceptional team of 100+ (and growing!) that is mission driven and low ego, values collaboration, ownership, and working smart. We've raised about $400 million in funding and have been able to help thousands of customers buy homes, meaningfully changing their financial future. Our customers choose any home for sale, and Divvy buys it on their behalf. The customer leases the home back from us while building equity credits along the way, preparing to buy the home at the end of their lease. Our customers get to live in their future home today, while buying fractions of the home over time.

Divvy’s founders are experienced real estate and fintech entrepreneurs. We were incubated by Max Levchin’s startup lab (HVF). We are looking for resourceful and passionate people to join our mission.

Company Culture

We are an experienced team of start-up veterans & industry executives looking to empower an underserved market and build a business that transforms the path between renting and owning.
