Dolls Kill is a fashion company featuring a rebellious spirit and attitude, mixed with a bit of punk rock, goth, glam and festival fashion. We’re a fashion destination set on boldly empowering young women to celebrate their individuality. Our customers would rather give an enthusiastic
f you than conform to the contrived styles of today's industry.. and they have fun doing it. We’re based in SF and backed by strong consumer focused venture investors.
Great people, and strong internal teamwork & culture. Strong growth over the past 5 years, with plenty of steam to continue that trend.
We're fully revamping our tech platform to use modern technologies in order to develop a world-class, cutting edge eCommerce platform. Help us create a seamless, fast, modern shopping experience for our customers, both domestic and international.
Our customers are tech savvy, creative, and enthusiastic, giving us opportunities to break from the norm of just another clothing shop. Our team is always working together to try to raise the bar, and reward their loyalty by delivering nothing short of the best.
Our engineering team work with a varied combination of Kanban, Sprint, and Milestone development scheduling as appropriate for task types and workloads, managed within a fairly automated JIRA board. Most collaboration happens within Slack, though there are occasional meetings & ad-hoc huddles. Development is done either on local VMs, or cloud dev servers, we use GIT as our VCS, and are currently putting the finishing touches on a CI/CD pipeline to allow for rapid
hands-off testing & deployment of code out to staging and production environments. Team structure is mostly flat, with a heavy focus on personal ownership of tasks playing to individual's strengths, and friendly collaboration to ensure we can move at a fast-paced but are never over-burdened.
Architecting and developing a modern eCommerce platform which will be able to support tens of thousands of concurrent users, customized experiences for multiple international markets, integration with physical stores, and multi-region deployments. Working with internal teams to provide technical solutions to help streamline productivity, reduce errors, and enable better experiences for our employees.
