Role Description

Our Team:

D&B Digital is the leading player in Customer Data Platform. It builds the world’s class big-data analytics platform that has empowered Sales and Marketing professionals from Fortune 500 companies to better generate their revenues and improve their work efficiency.

The Activation team at D&B Digital is a high-impact team that delivers the direct value to the customers in an actionable way. Activation team’s mission is to build a generic platform that can generate Campaign Recommendation data and distribute the data to various Sales/Marketing Platforms in a fast, scalable, reliable and intelligent way.

The Role: This role involves working in an agile way to build the platform using the state-of-art Big Data technologies, such as Apache Spark, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, etc. Working closely with product management and engineering leadership to build the right solutions will be extremely important, as we build out D&B Digital's first serverless stack that will enable us to scale out to handle the rapidly increasing load on our platform.

Key Requirements:

Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (preferably Java or Scala).

Must have a passion to work in fast-pace environment solving complex problems.

Knowledge of Databases design and optimization techniques.

Strong understanding of CS and programming fundamentals, such as data structures and algorithms

Ability to hit the ground running and learn/adapt quickly

Experience in Spring Framework, web technologies and distributed systems.

Experience building software in a micro-services and/or serverless architecture.

Optional Requirements:

Experience with cloud compute through AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

Experience with Apache Spark

Experience with Hadoop, Redis, and other open-source technologies

Experience building and operating SaaS solutions, managing multitenant solutions


Must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.

Master's degree is preferred but not required
