Engineering at Elevate Labs
We are a group of talented engineers who like to build high-quality products. As a small team, we take pride in our ability to jump on problems and everybody is welcome to move across different areas in our stack. We run 3-week sprints, have a high bar for code quality, like to use whiteboards, and put a lot of trust in each team member. Engineers work closely with designers and content specialists to make sure we deliver the best possible experience to our users. - Develop end-to-end features across multiple layers of our stack. For instance, on a given week you might be working in iOS (Objective C or Swift, depending on the app), C++, and Ruby on Rails.
- Get to be the first to develop apps for new platforms like the Apple Watch and Apple TV — before they are released.
- Come up with genius optimizations for performance and the highest visual quality for all devices.
Build a data warehouse from scratch in Python with a generic ETL pipeline capable of processing millions of events from a variety of sources every day.
Create a cross-platform layer in C++ that interfaces with native layers in iOS, Android and MacOS and contains business logic and launches our games engine. Because we believe you should write it once, test it once, and deploy it everywhere.
