Embark Trucks
We are a 30 person team based in SF building self driving trucks. We started moving real freight for customers last fall and were the first ever to complete a coast to coast run autonomously this past February.

Why join us?
Our goal is to prevent the 4,000 fatalities a year caused by truck accidents, reduce the 50,000 truck driver shortage, and make moving goods across the country twice as fast and half as expensive, improving the efficiency of the entire economy.
Our engineering team is small and made up of people from world class companies like Mercedes, Volkswagen, Ford, Uber ATG and Apple.
Our team became the first ever to drive an automated truck coast to coast in February and we were the first to start moving real freight for customers last fall on a 650 mile stretch of highway from California to Texas.
Engineering at Embark Trucks
We are 22 engineers split between four teams: machine learning, motion planning & control, mechanical and software. We have an extremely flat org structure and engineers have ownership over whole projects from start to finish.
We are building something that has never been done before! Self driving has the opportunity to be one of the biggest revolutions of the decade.
The role will work on a number of projects but the first being to design, build and own the interface into the self driving system. That is a product only a couple of companies in the world are at a stage to need.
