Engineering at EnterMedicare
You will be the first engineer to join the team. This means you'll be instrumental in setting up how we build from day one. Also we are excited for you to contribute beyond engineering and get involved with driving our roadmap and creatively defining how we build value for our customers.
Encryption - we are dealing with people's most sensitive data Product engineering - we need to build an test a lot of features / value props Recommendations - understanding how user input data + data from health partners leads to plan recommendations
Plan purchase flows - Medicare is complex with over 20,000 distinct options for the consumer, and the consequences of choice matter a lot. Getting someone to the right plan is much more than just a few clicks —> purchase
Engagement features - E.g., help consumers calculate if they should stay on their group coverage vs. switching to Medicare
Education and segmentation - E.g., building a content portal, and then taking data from individual behaviors to build robust segmentations.

Generous Vacation
We'll either do 2.5 weeks, or unlimited. Understand each has trade-offs, so want to know what you care about.

We are comfortable not working in the same place, so if you come in at an odd time / take a few days to work from home, great. We just care about being accountable for your role on the team, not mandating where you need to be, when.
