We are as early as they get. The team is the two co-founders, John and Luis, and a part time PhD out of Stanford. John and YOU make up the full time engineering staff. As a critical First Engineer, you will set the stage for the processes, standards, and culture we create.
You will also have substantial autonomy and authority to make decisions for the company, help build out the rest of the team, and interface directly with customers.
We are deploying very novel neural networks to very small embedded systems. There will be substantial challenges in writing deployable code that can process our algorithm while staying within compute limitations.
Our customers come from varied industries, you will have to deploy to everything from CUDA enabled Nvidia platforms like the Tx2, to vanilla intel CPUs, to satellite modems.
We created a demo that transmitted HD 1080P 60FPS video across an ultra low bandwidth radio link between two laptops. We blew the audience away.

The founders are two ex-aerospace engineers that spent time at a big company. They brought the maturity and perseverance and left the bloat, bureaucracy, process, and lack of imagination.
