ePluribus
At ePluribus, we are solving the “three-body problem” of self-sovereign identity. Blockchain identity is a multi-billion dollar opportunity, but it is a three-sided market that nobody has been able to crack. We are constraining two sides of this equation by partnering with government agencies and civic tech organizations. Users verify their identities on ePluribus to prevent bots and meddling in our politics. We raised a Seed round in September of just under $1M.

Engineering at ePluribus
Our engineers receive constant input from the executive team and are encouraged to work quickly, creatively, and independently to achieve concrete objectives on time. Currently, many of our engineers are freelancers who work remotely. We are currently hiring full-time local developers to take over developing the product.
Our chrome extension does things no other extension has before, inserting extensive UI on some of the most trafficked sites on the internet (Facebook, Twitter, and major news sites). We are constantly finding new ways to make our product more viral and more unique.
We are simultaneously developing a desktop and mobile app that works on the Ethereum blockchain to provide decentralized identity services. There are a number of fascinating problems related to the blockchain infrastructure that we are currently addressing.
You would work on optimizing a viral chrome extension in its early stages and help build new features to increase user acquisition and retention.
You would have access to our database of messages and be able to create complex data visualizations of aggregate information.
You would help develop a secure cross-platform mobile and desktop app to hold sensitive identity information.
Working at ePluribus
We value hard work and results. We measure success on quantifiable metrics and value quality and efficiency in our employees. You will fit in here if you are endlessly curious, passionate about your work, and willing to sacrifice for your team.
-
Free Food
We offer snacks and beverages (including coffee) at ePluribus HQ in downtown SF.
-
Workshops/Conferences
We encourage our engineers to join us at work-related conferences and workshops whenever possible.
-
Flexible Hours
We care about productivity, not hours. As a young startup, of course there will be times that we need all hands on deck, but we care less about when work gets done during the day as long as you produce a quality product.
