Engineering at Everwise
Currently, we do Scrum with weekly sprints, daily stand-ups, GitHub code reviews, direct ownership over features (working with Product), regular lunch & learns. We have around 7 full-stack, 2 dev-ops, 1-2 QA, and 2 services engineers.
- Building out our serverless AWS content infrastructure with personalized recommendations, matching of content to people, matching of people to people (mentors) and other heavy AWS, ElasticSearch, and machine learning problems
- Complex reporting using complex SQL, Redshift, AWS ETL processes, etc.
- Large and complex codebase with complex and highly performant React code. We give talks on React in the NYC tech scene.
Given our upcoming priorities, you would most likely be involved in things like content recommendation, mentor matching algorithm, dynamic learning path creation and other smart, algorithm- and data-heavy back-end code. Technical scalability will be another upcoming priority.

Friday afternoon we play K-pop or other music and crash on the couch with drinks and inflatable chickens.
