Evolution IQ is developing a next-gen platform for the insurance industry. We develop machines with deep comprehension and vast data access to guide humans to the optimal decisions over large numbers of claims. Our training data includes all parts of historical insurance claims, as well as data we source externally. Our findings are presented in intuitive products to streamline the claim investigation process. The result is potential savings in the hundreds of millions, increased fairness and added precision to insurance pricing.

We have two eng teams, a data science team and a full stack / product team. They work in close collaboration but act independently.

Technical Challenges

We're doing something nobody has ever done before - building an AI Claims Examiner in a box that understands human behavior, medical outcomes from injuries, financial incentives, can read unstructured documents as well as large structured databases.

Projects you might work on

Your mission is to design and build an AI-powered intelligence and workflow platform from big insurance data, think “Google AI meets Power BI”. It is the interface that connects the carriers to our underlying AI platform. The information is highly confidential and needs to be handled with the utmost care. There are many complex engineering problems to tackle, such as: daily ingestion, data validation, and presenting all this information in a beautiful and intuitive way. We are in the fortunate position of having many high impact products options and you will help decide which opportunities we choose to pursue.

You will have a key role in shaping the future of Evolution IQ’s products. From technology choices to weighing in on the roadmap, you will have a large amount of ownership and scope in this role. The team will look to you to provide crucial technical expertise and help prioritize features. Every day you will be asked to strike the right balance of building sustainability while shipping as quickly as possible.

We are founded by a senior Google AI expert and a Bridgewater Associates Algorithmic Investor & Stanford MBA. We’re not looking for employees.
