Engineering at ExtraServings, Inc.

Engineering team and processes

We're currently a one-man show, due to COVID killing us last year. You'll be one of the first engineers to join the team, so will be responsible for a lot. There is opportunity not just to be a part of the team, but to grow into a team lead position as we grow the engineering side of the business.

Our current challenge is to achieve feature parity with the likes of UberEats, Grubhub, and Postmates, while

Projects you might work on
  • You will be building customer-facing new features. Chief among them is to allow for multiple markets. Your first task will be to enable dynamic market switching based on the member's location and/or chosen city to browse.

  • The restaurant side of our app requires some serious love.

  • Our admin panel needs to allow many more actions, which are currently performed by direct database manipulation. Yuck!
