About the Role

At Famous, we rely on our IT systems to help our business attract and delight consumers all over the world. We are seeking an experienced systems administrator who is eager to use and grow their technical skills on a worldwide stage. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. From early on, you’ll help power our breakthrough innovations, be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. You will receive training to help you become a leader in your field. You must be comfortable taking on projects by yourself but also be able to collaborate and communicate well with the wider engineering team and company as a whole. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to a fast-paced tech startup that creates real-world solutions for everyone.

Role Responsibilities Maintain essential IT operations, including user accounts, security tools, laptops, software, and hardware Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in a global marketplace Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements Identify ways to automate and scale processes, tooling and platforms Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly Interact with the team to troubleshoot, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups Manage all domains owned by the company Work with the office manager with employee onboarding and offboarding Maintain all software account licenses and user accounts Management of Rippling Software integrations and troubleshooting User deletions Troubleshoot Zoom Issues in a timely manner Set up and shipping of new employee hardware Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science Proven work experience in IT Experience with programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching Experience in project management, cloud computing, application design and integration Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
