Engineering at Finexio

Engineering team and processes

We presently operate as a single team with a backlog of tickets ready to develop. Each ticket is available to any engineer. No sprints (yet). Our main coordination tool is a daily standup, Slack and Asana. As we grow we may split into a few sub-teams but for now everyone does everything. We're 100% distributed / remote. For development process we use code reviews, CICD and Infrastructure as Code.

Technical Challenges
  1. Building business process automations that blend human and robot tasks.
  2. Presently building out event streaming solution for cross-system coordination and reduce interdependencies.
  3. Starting a front-end overhaul project very soon..
  4. Building AI for risk analysis
  5. Reverse ETL
Projects you might work on
  • Front-end and/or full-stack developer working with product design team to overhaul our user experience.

  • Build out backend systems for managing new payment methods.

  • Build AI-powered chatbot functionality for customer support and internal workflows.

We're scrappy but learning to be more buttoned up given our market success. Our CEO leads with transparency and humility and we have a strong culture of working directly with peers to solve challenges.
