Flow offers a turn-key solution for professional investors. The core of Flow is about connecting information to the work that needs to be done in an integrated way. By connecting information to work, we automate it and empower people to spend more time focused on what they do best, thinking.
Last year, we started testing our initial thesis with customers and quickly validated our product with over $150 million in investments. Our traction lead to a clear roadmap and attracting great investors.

Engineering at Flow
We are a small and nimble team. We are starting to formalize roles and team structures, but everyone pitches in to the best of their abilities based on their skills, experience, and interests. We have begun implementing an Agile-ish development process (weekly sprints, estimating with story points, using Pivotal Tracker) but nothing is currently set in stone. We are still very much figuring out how we want to work together and hope to find new team members who can contribute to how we build software.
We have a ton of greenfield challenges this year. We built the core business around a small, prototype Rails/Angular app. Now that we have customers, revenue, and a proper development team, we are looking to take on some big challenges including data pipelines, reporting and analysis tools, messaging, workflow automation, and a host of other tools/features for our rapidly growing customer base.
We are currently building out the first version of our infrastructure. CI/CD, Chef, AWS, etc. Lots to do here.
Upcoming, we will be working on data reporting and analysis tools. So data pipelines, processing, visualization, etc. Folks with an interest or background in data engineering and data science take note! I am personally looking forward to this one!
A workflow engine that allows users to build a complex chain of tasks to automate their day-to-day operational pain points. Basically a DAG (directed acyclic graph) engine.
Working at Flow
We are building a culture and team that emphasizes diversity and ownership. We look for candidates with interesting backgrounds and rich experiences. We are currently going through a full build out and redesign. How we approached it: our CEO/CTO gave their designer friend total carte blanche to do whatever he wants. We have no clue what to expect. It should be interesting!

We're a small, tightly-knit team. We hang together frequently. We have also been seriously discussing company retreats and group remote work opportunities. Travel and exploration are A1 important to our founders and our culture.
