Engineering at Flywheel Technologies LLC
Our engineering team consists of data engineering, data science, and full stack web engineers. We hold weekly sprints, and weekly reviews where we celebrate wins and what we have shipped and what value it drove for clients.
We are organizing our small team into engineering pods where a deployment engineer and data engineer can deploy our system using Terraform. And then our data scientists leverage our system to generate unique audiences and experiments on the system.
Infrastructure as Code - We are building a software product that needs to be deployed across multiple clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure) and be kept up to date. This requires writing our system with infrastructure as code and applying updates across our deployments.
Experimentation framework - We are building an experimentation framework that enables clients to see revenue uplift across all the customer audiences they generate on our platform. This requires advanced statistics and data visualization to reduce noise and validate results.
Data Engineering at scale - We leverage Airflow to orchestrate data pipelines to send data to several destinations. Coordinate massive amounts of data between systems securely is a challenge we work on every day.
Develop Airflow orchestration for data pipelines to route audiences created in our interface to create them on a data source like Redshift.
Develop the backend web API to translate user input into SQL queries for a selected data source.
